After several supper clubs, pop-ups and residencies, Sarap opened its first stand alone site, Sarap Filipino BBQ & Lechon restaurant in Brixton in January 2020.Whilst the restaurant opened with much enthusiasm, Covid-19 had a major impact on the industry. Determined to pivot and carry on the work of championing Filipion cuisine, the existing Brixton site has since been converted into a quick service and delivery model named Sarap BAon.
The creation of Sarap BAon has meant that Sarap restaurant and its modern Filipino bistro concept, is now looking for a new permanent home, so it can continue to champion Filipino cuisine.
